Q: When do boxes ship each month? We ship our monthly subscription orders between the 20th and 25th of each month. If you want your first box o a new subscription to ship immediately you can email us and let us know you want your 1st box right away. You can also purcahse a priority shipping upgrade at checkout so the 1st box of a new subscription ships with priority service. If you have any questions or special requests email us at info@sportsboxco.com as we are happy to assist and will always try to be as accommodating as possible to honor customer requests.
Q: How do I place an order for more than one address or recipient? If you need boxes to ship to multiple addresses then you will need to place a new transaction for each address. If ordering multiple boxes to ship to the same address you can place one order and use both (all kids) names in the address line. We will write the sport and/or name on each box so they know which belongs to them each month.
Q: Can I make changes to my subscription as my child gets older or I want to try a different sport? Yes, the subscription can be updated as needed when your child moves up to the next level of play, you want to change your box type to another sport or any other change on your subscription. You can login to your account and update as needed. Please note that any changes made will go into effect upon your next renewal so it will not always reflect on your next shipment. Q: How much is shipping? Shipping is always included on subscription boxes shipping to the U.S. Those going to Canada are $14.99/box. Shipping on one-time purchases is calculated at checkout.
Q: What happens if I enter the wrong address, size, sport or don't get my box? We will always assist our subscribers with lost packages to makes sure it arrives. However, if there is a customer error (wrong sport, wrong address entered, incorrect shirt size on the account or anything else) we will be happy to help exchange or replace but there will be costs associated with re-ships. If requesting a different shirt size you will need to return the other shirt and upon arrival we will send the new shirt out, but there will be a $5 charge ($12 if outside the US). If you entered the wrong address or didn't pickup at your PO BOx and the box is returned to us we will need to charge up to $15 to re-ship the box out as we have to pay for new shipping and often had to pay for the return shipping back to us. If you put the wrong sport in and want to exchange you will need to return back to us and there will be a charge for the cost of shipping out the replacement box.
Q: When will I be charged for my renewal? Subscriptions will renew according to your selected preference (monthly, every 3 months or every 6 months). Your card will be charged the 1st day of the month for each renewal period based on your selected frequency. If you buy a gift subscription and don't want it to renew simply login and cancel your subscription so it does not renew (your initial term will still ship) or email us and we will help you. If you request an immediate shipment with a monthly term, your renewal will occur a week after your box ships.
Q: What is the difference between subscription boxes and One-Time Boxes? Our One-Time Mystery Boxes differ from our subscription boxes in that there is no theme to the products in the box nor is there a tip/drill card. If you ordered 3 Mystery Boxes they can all be the same or completely different. These one-time boxes make a great birthday or any occasion gift and are a fun surprise for any kid who plays sports. One-time boxes will ship within 2 to 3 business days of your order. We try to get them out quickly but at this time it can take up to 3 days to ship.
Q: What if my child plays multiple sports? We love when kids play multiple sports and if you want to change boxes frequently we recommend the month to month option as you can change boxes prior to any renewal so the box changes monthly. You can also choose a longer term and ask us to help with changes to the box as needed but we ask you contact us by the 1st of the month with change requests. While it is up to you, we typically do not recommend subscribing one child to more than one sport at the same time. Most months each sport will be a different, sport specific product mix but there can be some similar products throughout the year when we include speed and agility training aids which cross-over sports.
Q: Can I get a group discount if I am planning to buy a large quantity of subscriptions or one-time boxes for a team or larger number of kids? Yes, for any larger subscription or one-time orders please contact us to discuss your order size and we can work with you to provide a discounted rate. We can also customize large orders to just about any budget as long as we have a few weeks lead time. Emails us at info@sportsboxco.com to find out what we can do for your needs. We are very flexible and are happy to customize boxes for events and other specific needs.
Q: Can my subscription be canceled? Yes. As much as we want all our customer's and more importantly the kids to love their Sports Boxes and look forward to it each month, we realize that cancellations will be requested. To cancel you must do so prior to the 5th of the month. Since monthly renewals renew on the 1st day of the month; you can still decide to cancel and if by the 5th you can request a refund for the renewal. For the multi month renewals you cancel anytime but will get your remaining boxes that were already paid for.
